Mary Hannah Hudson, of NHS England, will talk about the new NHS App and the expansion of the 111 service online. We will also discuss local news and reports from local PPGs.
South Reading Patient Voice will meet on Wednesday, 31st July 2019 to hear a talk from Dr Rosemary Croft on "Reading - A Trauma-Aware Community?", Adverse childhood events have powerful effects on the life course. Dr Croft will introduce the evidence and current thinking on the importance of childhood trauma and will explain what is happening locally to put the thinking to practical effect. In addition, the meeting will hear and discuss news from local GP practices, Healthwatch Reading and Berkshire West CCG, Berkshire West ICS, Reading Borough Council and the WeBOB STP.
South Reading Patient Voice meets at 6pm on Wednesday 26th June 2019, to hear Linda Dobraszczyk talk about "Mental Health - the Critical First 1001 Days". We will also hear a report back from the annual conference of the National Association for Patient Participation and discuss news from local surgeries and from Reading Healthwatch.
